
Fittingly, the world game’s call for tender has been answered by manufacturers and designers from all over the world. Illumination arrived in the form of Gold Coast firm Yellow Goat Design, who said ‘let there be light’. Our Midsummer pendant featured in the May 2019 lighting section of VMSD.

A Interior Design Magazine feature on contemporary lighting with pops of color includes our Cut Outs chandelier from the Year 3000 Collection. Our Penguin and Bubble screens from the CONNECT collection were featured in the Sept/Oct 2020 issue of Canadian Interiors Magazine. Venus Williams firm V Starr was featured in HD Mag and includes a feature of the West Half St Space showcasing the custom Orb Chandelier we created with the V Starr team. Our Arboreal fixture designed with BHDM is featured at the Waldorf Astoria in Buckhead, Atlanta. Interior design company BHDM Design updated the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead with inspiration from the region’s natural greenery, including local dogwood festivals. Yellow Goat Design provided a bespoke fixture for the Brassica restaurant.

Gaia from our Year 3000 collection featured in Hospitality Design's Buyer's Guide 2021. Our Atiya Digiprint is featured in the March 2021 issue of NEWH magazine. The process of creating our Awakening pendant was featured in Hospitality Design. Our Juniper fixture was featured in the VMSD Lookbook for 2022. Our Estuary light pendant and Slipstream Screen were featured in the VMSD Lookbook 2023.
To this day, these delicate cheeses refuse to conform to modern supermarket culture. This allows YGD to reduce lead times for our clients and fabricate in the location that makes most sense for the project. Pinky Hawes’ father started Laurelwood Acres after she was born allergic to cow milk. It saved lives, including hers, she believes, but the slightly burnt flavor during evaporation or ultra-pasteurization also gave the milk a reputation as a hard pill to swallow. They were the biggest draws at county fairs and 4-H shows, says Hawes.

Created the line packaging for goat milk caramels in small batches. Billy G.O.A.T. Construction - Logo design for a construction company looking for a design based on a cartoon of theirpastor Billy who has a funmanchu mustache. The core product is a large commercial autonomous lawn mower (5x5x5 feet) whose primary customer is large commercial landscaping companies. We have been thinking about possible grazing animals to be in the logo, like a goat for example. A handdrawn goat illustration with a plant pattern on it showing the organic side of your company, combined with fonts in the same vibe. The collection includes Estuary, a vertical pendant comprised of softly curved plywood panels that are designed to recall the energy of streams of water.

The Puttshack design team wanted to create a unique fixture that embodied this ethos. The "Hole in 2" custom fixture is featured above the grand staircase at the Boston Seaport location. The overall design is a subtle nod to the mini-golf experience.

YGD's custom light fixture (design with SSDG) for Madam Restaurant at The Daxton Hotel was featured in HD Mag's Hot Hotels 2021 issue. A look at the importance of building with custom lighting design. This mold, observed Chenel, would begin to ripen the newly coagulated and drained cheese from the outside in. The process, called “mold-ripening,” could then be subtly manipulated to create different styles of cheeses.
Brassica, the signature restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, unites French cooking and Southern tradition in harmony. With the concept of Atlanta as a "city within the forest" in mind, BHDM and our team collaborated to pay tribute to the beauty of Georgia's native flowering dogwood with a bespoke chandelier. ELEVEN On the River, marks the first residential condominium tower in the heart of Minneapolis.
As pedigree breeding stock, they tend to have names like racehorses, say Redwood Hill Sequoia Selena. Another fungi-inspired design is Lamella, an oversized pendant made from lightweight Tyvek panels folded into a shape designed by Yellow Goat Design to evoke the feeling of being under a mushroom cap.
